Andrea L. Benson

Shareholder

Andrea L. Benson is a shareholder of Alperstein & Covell, P.C., having commenced her practice with the firm in 2001.  While Ms. Benson’s practice area is primarily water rights litigation and transactions, she also represents clients in real property and mechanics lien matters.  She represents municipal, agricultural and individual clients in water court, administrative actions and transactions pertaining to surface and groundwater rights, changes, exchanges and plans for augmentation.  She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Water Law Section and Denver Bar Association.

Ms. Benson is a Colorado native and graduate of University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995 and University of Denver with a Juris Doctor in 2001.  She is the proud parent of two daughters and enjoys spending her free time outdoors and can often be found running, hiking or skiing.
